Product description:

The Cadmium metal distillation furnace (Cd VDF)refers to a metal distillation furnace that is employed to extract the pure Cadmium(Cd) the crude Cadmium.

The Cd VDF comprises a melting pot, a distilling furnace, a holding pot and a vacuum pump. The vacuum is kept running during Cd VDF operating.The crude Cd ingot is melted in the melting pot; the melted crude Cd is sucked into the distilling furnace hearth under the vacuum.

The melted crude Cd inside the vacuum hearth will be turned into Cd metal vapor that ascends to the condenser while the the impurities like Sb, Cu, Fe, Tl and Ni are left as the slag at the bottom pot of distilling furnace. The Cd metal is refined by taking advantage of different boiling point of Cd and other metal impurities in the vacuum environment.

The refined Cd metal can be 99.99% purity
